Today the Moon is in Leo. I’m thinking of two events happening now: Pride Month and Eid al-Fitr: the end of the month of Ramadan. This holiday calls Muslims to show happiness and to “read the takbirat in an open field.” There's no fasting on Eid al-Fitr.
What a great metaphor for the Leo moon while the sun is in Cancer. What’s in your heart that you want to show the world or at least the open field? What are you proud of? What brings you joy?
Try to show some of that joy today. Be generous with yourself and others. If people seem overbearing with this energy, try to put it in context: Our pride takes a beating every day in big and small ways, but the Leo moon symbolism invites us to remember what lies inside us: The dignity of a child and a lion.
