Goodbye Gemini Sun

Today is the last Gemini sun day until next year.

How did the energy of the last month feel for you? How did you handle the quickened pace, the frenzy of information: All. Those. Little. Details?

What did you have to say and how did you say it?

I have “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” in my head, maybe because Gemini is associated with yellow. 70s songs usually have double meanings that go over my head, so I look it up to make sure yellow isn’t code for some illicit drug. It’s not. Elton John wrote it before he discovered drugs. The album was a nod to nostalgia and naivete.

Today’s Taurus moon calls us to what’s simple and brings us peace. Sometimes a yellow brick road is just a yellow brick road. And yet, in the other planets there’s an opening for nostalgia, wonder, and excitement today.

I’m imagining Dorothy skipping on that yellow brick road but then stopping at some point to smell the roses and let the sun shine on her face.
